Conquering the NPD Mountain

All New Product Development involves the metaphoric climbing of a mountain, with all the joys and pitfalls that it brings. At UPC we see division into three main phases of work, none of which is more important than any other. We are just as happy solving a detail tooling or assembly problem, as working on a brain-storm for new ideas.

With the experienced eye of a UPC project leader the conquering of the mountain can be both faster and easier than going it alone. We aim to take the shortest route over the prototype peak, with the minimum of detours and delays for the unexpected. On the back slope run home to market, when the tooling and assembly equipment is being made and validated, we will keep you out of the crevasses that can delay launch. Design integrity is the key to success.
